OMGz!! it's Angry Swan!!

Finally gunna get started on my latest attempt at doing something productive…I told Colin I wanted to create a comic. Thing is I was never set on an idea, when it came to characters n what not… Things just fly into my head and though they don’t feel like much of an idea at the time…Colin starts to like them, we start to talk about em a little more, and the more talk about em, the more you put in, the better it gets. Some of them are really stupid or moronic but theyre original! For example, we could go with our random talk about the flying flannel…lol.
…Basically a radioactive flannel, he was used in the shower by a guy working at a plant, who due to a rowdy game of football on the premises managed to get coated in radioactive waste…thus beginning the start of yet another radioactive waste-related superhero, who fights crime, his attacking method involves latching onto peoples faces to lower their senses…..
Or we could use the trusty angry swan! hehe as far as I know hes one of a kind, his storys not been completely written anyway though we brainstormed once about how he came to be so angry, why he uses a lamp as a weapon lol etc etc….
Then theres the strange overfriendly cat living down the road that Colin suggested we use once…maybe it could be more personal…maybe we could use our own experiences, whether we really dictate who we are, or we use fictional characters to act out our experiences..then again not an AWFUL lot happens round these here parts…lol but with colins wit and comedy, and my depth and desire to get arty, we could turn it into something…even if we were talking a bunch of crap about the crazy customers who stumble in and out of spoons on a daily basis etc.
I don’t know! to be honest there ARE a lot of choices…sometimes they come and go, sometimes you gotta wait for it to hit…which can be frustrating…but its like one day we were walking to work n i let slip that i was randomly picturing a very non conformist DINOSAUR known as a ‘tyrannosaurus goth’ but i didn’t elaborate much..like I said though, much to work with! Anyway other than work, if we get up nice and early thats our only real plan for the day so lets hope it works out mighty fine. sgunna be juicy! Imunna be mad nervous when it gets to my drawing out stuff cuz I feel on the spot and I still think Colin does a better job than I do with that stuff…
Anyway off to bedness now, got an early start n im shleepy…

No luck working on the game idea, only I kinda just wait for instructions, since colins the one with the plan…and he wants my input when im pretty sure theres nothing more to add and I love his ideas…I’m so lame, but I’ll follow orders! lol. So yeah not reeeally moving forward just yet, just kinda haaangin out…but yeah. lol hes trying to get me to go swimming tomorrow cuz i havent been in yearsss due to lack of interest and low self esteem…lol. still thinking about it though..anyway we’ll see how we feel tomorrow… its either that or a movie so tomorrow should be nice. other than work at 6… but yeah. Hopefully its not too bad cuz im knackereddd! opened up at the pub twice in a row with late nights…girlie night sunday lol just drinking pitchers with the worky women. was nice. have pictures…

Today was pretty neat. :] though i kinda feel like crap and ive got work in the morning…i had a loverly day at thorpe park and bought lots of awesome photos. then spent the evening hanging out with the boyfriend…just kinda dodgy in the stomach…ever since i went on the zodiac ride…its awesome and makes you float almost lol but mannn its kinda evil… :/ luckily didnt puke though…ended the night on a teensy argument but alls well, so lookin back it was a good day :] if only i hadnt left my phone at colins…im just hoping ill actually get woken up for work tomorrow without the alarm… WE’LL SEE! hope works not crap tomorrow…but it shall be followed up with a nice evening out with colin and jo hopefully. tho i have a feeling she might not be up to it tbh…either way, maybe if it falls through and she decides to skip it me n colin will get to work on the game idea or sumthinnnn…that or play some more pixel junk eden…we’re not doing too bad on it…its less fun by yourself so fortunately it creates kind of…quality time…lol for us to work through it as a little team :] anyway we’re like 3 gardens away from doing it yeyyy…dunno where we’ll go when we’re done though lol. Problem with us playing games though is that I play for fun but half the time hes just concerned about completing everything and getting trophies n stuff, everythings a competition…sigh…guys for you i guess. lol AH well… until it get to the point when he calls me names n screams at me for not doing well at times, i dont mind…thing is he thinks he sucks n tht im good at a lot of games but he’s still eager to tell me how much i suck. lol sigh….BUT YEAH. nuff o that…im not gunna keep ranting cuz im exhausted n my minds kinda just on that 70s show cuz im watching it…. hehe so yeah. cheerio.

Okay just had a nice game of worms armageddon and marvel vs capcom with me brother. Twas intense I must say….and nowww im struggling to sleep, but i’ve gotta get up at 7 for a nice little thorpe park outing with mates fromwork. Bout the first time anyones actually made an effort to spend time with eachother outside work, so fingers crossed it doesnt fall through. Anyway today was kule, though i had work at half 7 and it was mighty busy for one of the dead days, noone seems to work anymore lol…it wasn’t so bad, had a good sleep, worked with cheery people and ended the shift with a welcoming visit from the boyfriend who took me back to his for some pixel junk eden..onlyyyy i was knackered and fell asleep for 2 hours, hence the lack of tiredness now. lol. Then we took a stroll to new malden for some munch, sat in mcdonalds and talked about future ideas. Colin has a LOT of ideas…sometimes too much to control, they crossover and rule eachother out temporarily but I admire his creativity and enthusiasm. Sometimes I wish I could get a refill on mine… Anyway! he has an idea at the moment for a plants vs zombies (poopcap games) style game. Its a tower defence kinda game that requires you to HOLD OFF THE CHAVS! lol. he wants me to do the art, possibly cute and cartoony. I think it could be a winner. Just gotta stay focused… We started on a previous game idea of a piece of chewed gum that is plotting to take over the world, the more objects it absorbs, the bigger it gets. Its almost like beautiful katamari, in that you enter various atmospheres and gather what you can to reach your target…the bigger he gets the more variety too, for example, to begin with, as a regular size piece of gum, he’ll only be able to swallop up small things like bugs…which will cause him to increase in size and enable him to swallow things like cans…and then on to birds (lol) etc. again, neat idea co-created and some of the art works already been drawn. its just the damn focusing and the inability to stick to one plan for colin :p hes just loaded with inventions…But yeah, seeing as this weeks been quite eventful we figured we’d spend as little as possible, stay in most of the week next week,other than work and get started on the new anti chav game :p so that should be kuuuule. We’ve also been talking for a while about how someday in the future we’d love to own a shop, live above it, we’d sell games, warhammer supplies lol etc, maybe host games, pokemon card duels etc :] gotta love pokemon. hopefully get a shop set up somewhere busy like central london, colin was thinking soho… and ye know get plenty o business. I really hope we do someday, it’d be awesome…. not to mention if we get cracking with the game ideas we could maybe introuduce our stuff, get it out there…
anyway these are all hopes we have for the somewhat distant future, only hes still trying to pay off a juicy overdraft and we’re both trying to save for a place together…its cuz of that, and the fact tht he was majorly close to getting kicked out of his stepmums house (cuz shes a knob and settled on him leaving soon as uni was over) but he couldn’t afford to, so shes upped the rent…that i left college and brought up my hours at work as much as i could. Anyway nuff about that, keep saving n see what happens is the plan. I’m gunna shup now n try sleep cuz its going on two…hopefully pleasant dreams await…for now, heres the image of an early angry swan sketch…had it handy:

Heyyyy whoever chooses to read this, this will be my first blog entry woooo! I’m still figuring out how this thing actually works :] lol, the boyfriend made it for me. (Thank you Colin) He seems to have this huge urge to get me out there a little more. Its a great feeling, to have someone who thinks youre worth sharing with the world, i give him my ideas, i show him my doodles and he forces me to turn them into art. For example, the route of this site, and how its name was found…I once got bored at work and scribbled on a napkin things like dancing sandwiches, and somehow i had the image of a simple cartoon ’swan’ lol and decided it would be on a sort of rampage…weapon of choice: a lamp. I’m not sure where it came from, I didn’t mean to make it go any further than that napkin, but for some reason it stuck, and Colin loves it. Anyway, the name inspired my email address, and my website, just cuz its kinda unusual… but anyway, this is just gunna be a site to share my doodahs n watsits, an I’m kinda prone to talk bollocks, its really a public diary, so just to warn you you may bore easily.. :p but maybe not! who knows. Anyway…so my name is Leanna, I work at a Wetherspoons pub and I’m into art, writing, attempting to learn guitar in the hope of eventually starting a band tho tbh its kind of a no go…either way, i adore music. Imunna leave it here for now cuz ive had an exhausting day at work :/ but yeah. Welcome anyone that bothers to read…and apologies in advance if I seem to mention colin too much…I’ll try not to.
